I know this is a little late but wondering if you had any of the morning glories left for trade. I looked at your list and was also wondering about your nicotiana's?

You mention here that you have more shade now. Do you mean mostly shade or do you have sun in the morning or late afternoon on the beds? I have just moved and all of my gardens but 2 were under a canopy of pine trees only receiving sun in the morning and/or late afternoon.

If you have a look at my list you might find some things you would like to try. I didn't collect seeds from much in 2006 cause I needed to allow some self sowing to get the full beds I had before moving. But all of the flowers on my seedlist are prolific bloomers in those conditions. I had to plan accordingly and and thanks to caring and knowledable Garden Webbers in 1998 I achieved a full lush garden full of blooms. I returned here last week after surfing seed catalogues on line and realized how much I missed it here. Now I have full sun everywhere but one bed so have to rethink my planting strategy for this season.

Hope we can trade, just ask about anything on my list because they have been growing in the described conditions in Georgia zone 8 for 9 years and producing an abundance of seeds. Some Notables especially if you love morning glories would be:

Trumpet blooms:
cypress vine - sun or shade.
four o clocks - open in afternoon and smell stronger in shade.
Daturas if you like the Brugmansia (careful w/pets & kids)last longer in the shade.

Foliage and blooms
Jewel of Opar - low growing sun or shade
Liatris - Gayfeather - won't wilt as fast lasts longer in shade
Mexican hats - delicate foliage likes the shade.
