Walt is correct about the shortage of information/description.
But I'll venture to give this.
Your battery problem is not related to the absence of spark, and the spark problem is not related to your battery problem.
You can unplug the small kill wire lead from the coil and then check for spark with that unplugged.
If you get spark with the wire unplugged, you need to search the entire kill wire circuits, including seat switch, park brake switch,key switch, or other switches that interlock to kill the engine.
If you DO NOT get spark with that wire unplugged, you most likely have a defective coil, unless it's been put on upside down.

And if you can't figure the circuits out on your own, you will have to post the model number and serial number of the machine that has this Briggs in it. Briggs only furnishes the wiring that comes with the engine. The rest of the wiring is from whoever made the chassis/machine.

If you have no spark with the small kill wire disconnected from the coil- you need a new coil. As far as your battery issue, it is a good place to start to have the battery charged and load tested. Next you will need a multimeter to do a basic draw test and charging system test. Have one?
