Love my cork floor. Be sure to seal around the edge at the wall. We had a pipe burst and it warped the floor. Had to reglue. Otherwise it's easy to care for. Sweep daily. Hides dirt. Would have gone a shade darker than we did.

Cork tiles which are 100% cork are great for kitchens and the most popular location for cork flooring in the home. Cork flooring has been used in homes for more than 50 years and in public buildings for more than a century. Use only the all cork tiles in wet areas, not the engineered planks which are really a fiberboard floor with a small percentage of cork on them. Take a look at our photos...

We ordered Cancork floors and had a professional install it December 2014. We got the floating laminate, and love the material. It's warm comfortable in the kitchen. BUT--it has a hollow sound when you walk on it. Cancork did not recommend an underlayment until AFTER we commented on the hollow sound! We would have done it if we had known, but now it's too late. Now, the very expensive imported polyurethane Cancork recommended is peeling off the floor, and, of course, they offer online advice, but it's really our problem now. I would highly recommend using a local, established, flooring company to do your cork floors so that you will have recourse if there is a failure. I would never trust online again.

We have had cork tile (click it style) over an underlay on a concrete slab in our cottage for 10 yrs. Love it, wears well, warm and cozy and dampens sound.
