Anyone into west coast contemporary style? Seattle meets Whistler maybe with a Japanese flavour. We have a new foyer/entrance with double Douglas Fir closet doors and over-sized fir entry door. Have two chairs for putting shoes on which we would like to keep, but the tables in between are wrong. Thinking a Brent Comber piece might be cool but out of our budget (fourth pic). Any budget friendly alternatives? Might be too much wood anyway (wood ceilings also)? And I guess artwork on the wall. Don't like mirrors really. Appreciate thoughts from the talented designers out there on how to really give this space more impact.
