I have seen several people mention medicated foods. I have always been afraid of putting any sort of antibacterials in my aquarium because im afraid it will mess up the biological filter... kill off the good bacteria. If you get the medicated foods, are they like people taking oral antibiotics? Will it not harm the water? Or will the disease, whatever it is, still be in the aquarium and need to be completely treated? I don't currently have any problems, but i was just curiouse... what are the best ways to treat various aquarium diseases? Also, how do you recognize what is waht? the only problem ive ever had is Ich.
