Incandescent vs. Flourescent

Have a 2.5 gallon tank. It's about 12" long.

I recently purchased the only hood I've ever found to fit it (In nearly a year of looking). Unfortunately it's got a 15W incandescent bulb.

Anyone have any info on flourescent bulbs that would fit in a 15W socket?

Anyone have any hookups for 12" flourescent hoods?

I use a small flourescent in a similar setup. It's equivalent to a incadescent 40W bulb and puts out plenty of light even for good plant growth.

Yes, but, see, I couldn't find the flourescent setup, and I'm not aware of any flourescent bulbs that will fit the hood I've presently got (15W incandescent bulb with a teeeeeny socket).

I would like to use the same setup you have... but I don't know where to find one?

Actually, I don't quite remember if the socket on the 15W incandescent is small or not. Hrm.

Anyway.

I would like to find a flourescent to fit the 15W incandescent socket (I know these exist for standard lightbulbs), or a 12" flourescent hood (which I know must exist, but I don't know where to find them).
