Ahhhhhhh kissing gouramis.....yes remove them as soon as possible from your discus tank!!! Kissing gouramis are aggressive and roudy as you say. And yes they can do damage to each other by kissing a lot.

If you like gouramis...try dwarf gouramis. They are much more mild tempered. However I would not add them to a tank with discus.

Again Discus like a temp of 86F while most other tropicals don't like temps above 76F
