I'm quite taken with Daybreak from a photo but haven't had any experience with it or Thisbe. Ashdown carries it, says it's hardy for my zone as well.

My Thisbe is doing better than my Daybreak but I have no idea why.

I'm in a totally different part of the country. Daybreak is one of my best (healthiest) hybrid musks. It has gotten established in my garden, survived several attacks from beavers, and is doing what it should do...except it doesn't bloom much in the heat of the summer...but most of my roses don't bloom in this heat.

I put Thisbe in this year. It was a band and still looks like one. I'm looking forward to Thisbe doing as well as Daybreak, especially after hearing Catrose's comments.

Well, I've contacted Vintage to see if Daybreak is really sold out or if it's just an error on my order. I'd really like to have this rose.

And one I'd REALLY like to try is Callisto--it sounds great. Hybrid musks have done really well in my "survival of the fittest" yard.
