Short, Fat Madagascar Lace Plant

In the '60's, while I was still in high school, I mail ordered a Madagascar Lace Plant from Florida. It was my pride & joy for over 3 years before I lost it in a move to college. Lately, I have been thinking about devoting a cool porch tank to one; but all the Madagascar Lace Plants I find for sale today have long, skinny leaves that look more like A. henkelianus to me. The plant I received 40+ years ago had short, fat leaves [about a 2:5 ratio] with a very regular hole pattern. Does this variety still exist in the trade today?
