I planted some calla bulbs about 6 weeks ago. As of today, nothing has come up, out of all six bulbs. I attempted to dig around and try to see if anything was sprouting, but I was unsuccessful. I'll try again later, but I was wondering if this is normal? In my region, when should I start to see growth?

FWIW the bulbs get partial sun, and for reference they are in an area where my hydrangeas thrive.
