No, they aren't the same.
I have grown both for about 3 years. I got mine down in Miami at Fairchild Gardens. Tigrina has a more plain green leaf, although the shape of the leaves of teh 2 plants in very similar. Zebrina reticulata has a pattern on the leaves and stems that Tigrina doesn't have

This is a photo of the leaves and stem of the Zebrina reticulata. The tigrina looks similar, but no pattern. Every leaf on Zebrina has this pattern, hence the name "reticulata"...its reticulated.

They are actually 3 different species.

Alocasia "Tigrina Superba" has dark green leaves and attains the largest size. Leaves get huge and spear like.

Alocasia "Zebrina Reticulata" doesnt get as large but the leaves have the reticulated (striped) pattern

Nice plants etropical! Your house looks like my old house. We used to live in an older red brick house with nice doors like yours and brick walkways. It was in the historic district and was built in 1925. Now we live in a modern contemporary, lots of glass and open space. Sometimes I miss my old house though. It was 3 story and very cool!

I have recently planted out a alocasia tigrina in a bed in the full sun here in tropo Queensland , and it seems to be thriving , its multiplied to an amzing extent , and summer has not even started . Hope it gets enormous .
