I paid for a linden tree to be planted in the treebox in front of my store in Washington, DC. It's clearly not a Little Leaf linden, as the leaves are nearly the size of my hand. It's five years old and I've never seen anything sucker like this! I just cut off over 100 sprouts and this is the fourth time I've cut that many this year! All the other trees on the street are Little Leaf lindens, and don't have any suckers. Is there any way to make mine stop doing this? It's exhausting work for an old lady!
