My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

is it difficult to separate the baseboard and the Sheetrock as shown?

My contractor says it is labor intensive and will cost time and money, is there an easy way to create this look?

    No, there is no easy way. This is a high end custom detail that has to be handled carefully with a knowledgable trim and drywall crew or it comes out looking like... Well you know.
