I too believe I am computer/internet literate but Rose Forum stumps me on posting pics!

You need an account at a photo-hosting site such as Photobucket. There are quite a few, I'm just using Photobucket as an example. You get your free account, then you upload your pictures there.

Photobucket happens to have a handy feature--you can just click on the box below each picture that says "HTML Code" and then paste the code into the Rose Forum "Message:" box, and the picture will show up when you preview.

I'm just using Photobucket as an example. There are other free photo-hosting sites like Flickr, etc. They have their own method of allowing links and remote picture display.

I agree with using Photobucket. Go to www.photobucket.com. Press the Join Now button and register with a username and password to establish an account. It's free. Once you have an account, you can log in. It's easy to log in to Photobucket from then on, because your computer remembers your username and password. Once you log in, scroll down to the "Upload Images and Video" section, where you can upload your photos to Photobucket. I find it best to press the "reduce to" function to reduce the size of the photo files to 640x480 for purposes of posting photos to the Rose Forum. Press "Choose Files" and use Ctrl to select multiple files. You can then go to the folder in your computer like "My Pictures" where you store your photos. Select the ones you want to upload and press "Open". The photos then get uploaded to Photobucket.

Once your photos are uploaded to Photobucket, you can then Title them such as "Landon", press save and continue. Your photo then appears on Photobucket, with four lines of text below the picture: "Email and IM", "Direct Link", "HTML Code" and "IMG Code". Press the "HTML Code" with your cursor and the word "copied" appears in a yellow box. This means your photo is copied to your Clipboard on your computer.

Then go to the Rose Forum where you are composing your Message. Write what you want in your message, then put the cursor where you want to place your picture. Right click and press "Paste". The HTML code then gets copied to your message with the phrase of computer gibberish. Then press the box "Preview Message" and a new window appears that actually contains your picture or pictures. If everything is OK then press "Submit Message" and your message with photos gets published to the Rose Forum.

I find it easy to do once you learn how and you can post multiple photos very quickly.
