Do you have these bulbs on hand and did you chill them in the fridge for several weeks or were they pre-chilled bulbs? If yes, plant them.
However, wait to purchase bulbs while supplies are good during September or October.
BTW, some of my daffs are already blooming.

Thanks for your response. I just bought them. They already were beginning to sprout and I planted them yesterday. We will see if they bloom.

My bulbs are beginning to come up. We will see if they bloom this year.

If they don't bloom this year they should next year. Be sure and let the foliage die back naturally. My daffodials started blooming the middle of January.

I'm in Florence and ours have buds. A few of the early varieties have already flowered.

As far as the bulbs, since the flower is in the bulb, don't you think they will bloom with no problem? Rather like the forced ones? good luck.

I too, have had established daffs blooming for over a month, and the ones I planted last fall are all coming up really good. You will probably see blooms this year, as stated in an earlier post. The blooms are in the bulbs and they will bloom as the "forced" bulbs do.
