strawberry variety suggestions?

I'm in south alabama. I have everbearing variety now called EverSweet from Gurneys. I want to replace these with a better variety. These don't produce well-lots of inferior fruit, etc. Only about one out of 20 are nice and plump with good color and grow to the size of a quarter. I don't care for the huge kind with no flavor. Does anyone know of a very sweet, good quality variety for my area? Maybe junebearers would do better?

Go to the link provided below. Pick your county to get the phone information for your county Cooperative Extension Service office. You may ask them about good varieties. You may also want to call the Conecuh county office in Evergreen, AL. They grow lots of strawberries down there and even have a strawberry festival in Castleberry, AL. Also try Chilton county. There are several grow & pick strawberry farms in Chilton county.
