Some of you will have already read or heard that Anniston/Calhoun Co are preparing to welcome about a thousand persons displaced by Katrina. There is a "Labor Day of Love" planned for one of the thousand-man dorms at McClellan on Monday. Volunteers are needed to weed eat, rake, pick up debris, clean windows, etc., etc. Volunteers are asked to bring their own supplies/equipment (weed eaters, rakes, shovels, window cleaning solution, paper towels, etc.). Volunteers should contact the EMA (435-0540) regarding their participation.
