I don't know how much we got. Not much but every drop was appreciated. I do hope that more comes in the next few days.

My guage shows 3.5 inches in Hueytown. I'm hoping for more. We've had over 8 inches in the last 2 or 3 weeks.

Whoa, 8 inches in 3 weeks, thats phenomenal!!! Where exactly is Hueytown? To give some idea I've had 7.92" here since July 1.

Woohoo! It downpoured nicely here in Heflin sometime early this a.m. Woke me up from a dead sleep and it was music to my ears. Has been damp, cloudy and drizzly all day since.

Mimi I am glad you got 6 inches and wow I wish we had gotten as much as some of you. We got 2 inches. It is back to sunny and mild. We still have not had a 1st frost. My ferns etc are all still perfect , I still have impatiens blooming !!

We have the Victorian Porch Tour on our street this next week. I have never had such warm weather for it since we have been here...2002. Will see what next week gives us. Caroline

It's December 15th and once again the predicted "big rain event" just didn't happen. It looked sooo promising on the radar as it approached, but Pinson has been pretty much left out again. So far I'm up to .12 inches today. I'm thankful for that but we need much more.

I've checked the rainfall totals for some of the surrounding cities and states. Some of you had substantial amounts. Glad you got it because I know you need it, too.

We got about an inch Saturday and through the night. It is windy now. Supposed to get down to 28 tonight here in Opelika. c
