It seems that a cream color on the window trim and facia would be a nice change. I don't think I would paint the body of house. Adding a different color on the window trim would draw some attention to the lovely windows that you have. A black front door would still work.

The current trim color is too warm. I like the wood siding color. Perhaps you can pull the lighter (or lightest) from the brick and paint the trim with that. Looks like it would end up being some sort of bone or neutral almond color. It shouldn't be too light though so as not to confuse with the white windows. Keep the trim color neutral or slightly on the cool side.

I agree with Dar. Since you are selling it, its already a nice, neutral color, and the thinking is, I believe, to not spend money that you might not get a return on. I think that a lighter cream color on the trim really would accentuate the siding and the brick. I believe I would remove the storm door-its a good quality one, so perhaps if you need one where you're moving, you can take it, or leave it for the new people to decide if they want to use it. The storm door obscures the front door. I can't really see what your front door looks like, but, if you can afford it, that's where I would spend some money to make the front door look really stunning.
That's a pretty color that AMN linked, to, too, and one thing about it that it shows a couple of other coordinating colors that would probably work on your door, if you are going to paint it a flattering color.

Have you thought of using the services of a Home stager ? He/She will be evaluating each and everything to get it Sale Ready , which we cannot do in our free advice .

For myself, I'd probably go with a darker colour scheme on the trim to offset the lighter brick. For resale value, I'm leaning towards the above suggestions of using a warm white, or light cream colour for the trims, and possibly adding a hint of colour to the wood siding. A neutral grey with a bluish tint could work to offset the overwhelmingly beige feel, if you want to paint the whole house, but your return of investment will probably not be worth the whole house...

...We're getting back to my idea of the darker tone when looking at the door and its framing. A darker tone would pop against the light brick. Even just painting the door, or sanding it and staining it darker would bring a pop of contrast to the exterior. The trims and the door and window frames would be more important than the whole house, as even a little bit of contrast would brighten up the house's appearance.

Or try something like a chocolate colour for the wood, and go with a white for the trim for a safer play, or if you're feeling dare devilish, a vibrant red or orange tone for the trim and front door to have a pop of bold colour on the exterior (I might refrain from it for resale, but if you look at old houses, they used way more colours than we do these days, and fooling around with paint chips for a combination that plays off the brick colour could work).

Would a medium gray like your brick mortar be a consideration? I also agree there is no need to paint your whole house. We have the same storm door on our home, painted the same color as our big front door. If you are going to leave it on for showings, I agree with painting it to match-- might as well give them both a fresh new coat of paint!

I'm in full agreement about removing the storm door to expose your door. How about a beautiful bright colored door in a semi gloss? Perhaps a rusty red or a black which are classic and will do a lot for a small investment to accent your lovely home!

Agree that the storm door can be removed, paint the front door and wood trim only around the windows the same color and reduce the growth of the landscaping. Doing this will make your house look fresh and eye catching for a very small investment. This color will coordinate nicely with your flowers, too.

Avoid paint with any green tones (which would make the salmon & pink tones in the brick more prominant). Since you're already aware of the pink tones, you're in great shape. The trim and brick are too close in tone for anything to stand out. Your browns need more grey and should be darker, look at Sherwin-Williams 7032 or 7033. Paint the underside of the entry overhang a shade or 2 lighter 7030 and the door surround 7034.
The door is a natural wood that the storm door is detracting from so make sure it matches the surround, what ever color you decide on for the surround. Don't be afraid of making a statement at the front door.
