How are they different from Italian Red Torpedo onions?

l an growing the Amish Bottle, ltalian Red Torpedo & the modern variety Tosca onion (bought the Tosca seeds online from Europe) this year. All are similar shape so far, just transplanted last week. The Amish seem to be a 'brown' onion, the Tosca is a 'yellow' onion & the Torpedo is red of course. l hope to save some nice bulbs to make my own seed next season.
