Purchased 'Heritage Sweet White' topsetters from Abundant Daylilies last fall. They are performing well, many stalks coming up from the bubils, (considerably shorter and generally smaller than my "Catawissa's"). Where the Heritages send up a 2nd tier, I was expecting bubils but what I am seeing is seed. Is This normal? When do I harvest and when should I replant the seed.
Additional observations: Elephants are putting up scapes, so is Xian (didn't know what to expect from that one, my first year) No sign of scapes on the musick, some catawissa's are over 3 feet tall, and a couple have fallen over due to weight of 1st and 2nd tier of bubils.
