Your questions deserves an answer from somebody knowing more about A. caerulum than I.

I would grow the bulblet like I would with garlic topsets. Plant them in the soil about one and a half times the depth of the bulb in early autumn. Until then - harvest when mature, let them dry and store at roomtemperature until plantingtime.

Hope this will provoke a more knowledged person to give you an answer based on experience with A. caerulum.
