I am removing my coverings as soon as there is even One sprout, bec. otherwise they will fry.

I think they will be fine being uncovered from now on -
depending on the plant and on the temp.

There is a low chance of frost, but you know NJ weather - it can happen.
If I had something like zinnias which I know are tender, and frost was predicted, I would throw something over them.

I've pulled the tape off most of my sprouted containers, but the only ones I've taken the tops all the way off are the ones I know are hardy/and or getting pretty big. I've been watering and checking every day through this unusual heat and so far they're fine. Some are still tiny and I just want them to grow a little bigger before they're exposed directly to wind or heavy rain.

another option is to make the holes in the top bigger.

I put some row cover (fabric, but transparent enough for light to go through) over for the cold spell we are having yesterday/today/tomorrow (down to 34 at night, 55 in the day, I have lids off, and tender annual sprouts and hardy annual/perennial seedlings.

I covered my Salvia last night, also with a row cover, altho it was probably unnecessary since here it was forecast to go down to 40.
I just didn't want to take a chance, one year I lost all by salvia to frost.
