Is there a FAQ section?

Hi!

I would like to try adding garlic and some onions to my garden, except I have no idea where to begin. Do you have FAQ section I can read or can you recommend a book about the basics. I live in WI so if anyone who lives there has some tips too, that would be great!

Jen, Welcome to the board, and to alliums!!

Currently no FAQ section here, but check the "What did I do wrong?" thread for a high level garlic primer. ANy decent gardening book at the library or bookstore would have this (and onion) information also.

Here are some books to look for:

"Growing Great Garlic," Ron L. Engeland. This is the bible of garlic growing.

"The Great Garlic Book," Chester Aaron.

"Onions, Leeks, & Garlic," Marian Coonse

Plus you really should read all the back pages on this forum, as there is a wealth of knowledge contained in them.
