I pick my scapes while tender (~12" long) and place them in a plastic grocery bag. I then drizzle EV olive oil into the bag, sprinkle a little salt and curry, and shake the bag to coat the scapes. Then just toss them on a hot grill until they are about half brown. You can also stir fry them, whole or cut up, again with a little oil, salt, and pepper or curry. They are delicious!
