I was hoping someone with a little more experience would respond. Bit alas, I will. I have seen and grown a couple species of sedum as indoor plants. These hardy to even my zone 4a.These are sedum acre another people know as Jelly bean. I suspect the small creeping very thick leaved ones would do fine inside, but not ones like Hylotelephium 'Herbsstfreude'(Autumn Joy Sedum) or the common creeping forms like S. kamchaticum or sieboldii. Delospermums overwinter in the house pretty easily.

Of course, sedums will like it hot and dry. But most alpines will want cooler temps, especially at night, and good air circulation. And don't forget the excellent drainage. Also keep in mind that their overall shape and growth pattern will be different.
