My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I have one that I hunted high and low to find. After 2 years, I've come to the conclusion that I don't like it and if someone wants mine they are welcome to come dig it up.
Th reasons are it looks like a palm tree and growing very slow. Leaves very small and I dont like small leaves. The fall color bites. On the plus side its drought and heat tolerant, doesn't mind being peed on and th foliage is dark green, just the way I like it.
If planting options are limited there such as power or property lines, I'd use it but I could use a bigger tree in this space.
Thanks for the info! I can't picture how it could look like a palm tree, but that wouldn't be good at all. I'm looking for a tree that won't grow higher than 20 feet because I have a view of the foothills that I don't want to lose. I also have a view of an ugly grey house below the foothills (at about 12 - 14 feet) that I do want to lose.
