Just horrible -- weekend is completely ruined. Mon-Thu are fine days for rain. :>(

Awh come on, we need it bad

I'm hoping for rain! Got the yard mowed and everything fertilized last night just incase.

It's been pouring hard here in N. Scottsdale for almost three hours now, and shows no signs of quitting. I was so excited I got up at 4:00 when it started just to make sure the rain barrel and buckets are in place and collecting, hah. Plus I had overnight bread waiting to be baked anyway, so I thought just get the heck up, lol. Hope everyone gets a nice deep soak! Happy gardening!

Apparently the rain god answered your prayer haha :) talk about an outpour. Now if you could schedule this more regularly with Mr. Raingod, we would appreciate that.
Say a good inch of rain every Monday night would be quite appreciated.

Here was my rain gauge by the end of Sunday. What an amazing downpour that was! There were some amazing, swirling heavy rains for quite awhile in my neighborhood. My most conservative (lowest reading) rain gauge clocked 5 inches for the weekend. Amazing stuff.

Thanks, Campv! It's a bit fancy for me, lol, but I like it. I've got some of the El Cheapo plastic ones here and there in the garden, since when it comes to rain gauges I like to trust, but verify. Which really means just verify, LOL. Happy gardening all!
