I have a two year old carob tree that I think froze dead. It was planted as a 15gal tree and is now about 10 feet tall. It was completely defoliated by the winter freezes and still shows no sign of life. Any Ideas? This is my first carob tree and thought after research that it would be the perfect hardy evergreen. My ficus, guavas, mangos, sapote and avacados are all doing great and look like I would expect in the spring but the carob is still lifeless. Is it dead or will it come back? I'm getting impatient!
