Hi all - I'm experimenting with pots and different types of bamboo. I currently have Phillostachys Nigra and Aurea in long skinny pots...needs to be wider and longer and probably a bit deeper...just wondering if anyone has some suggestion on what type of pot to buy or if anyone has built pots, etc..would rather not reinvent the wheel. I've also heard that if you do get one of those "ENORMOUS" pots, like the ones that are waist to shoulder high, you can fill it partially with non soil "stuff" so you don't have to fill the whole thing with dirt...would love to hear ideas on best material to use...I've heard aluminum cans, styrofoam peanuts etc...thanks
