Hello Forum, new to bananas

Hi all

I've hung aboutGW for a couple years, but never visited bananas forum. I love to eat them, dry them, cook with them, but have never grown them, heck I've never seen a banana plant except for in pictures.

Thought I'd hang around, listen, learn and maybe try my hand at it, I think my grandchildren might enjoy watching tiny bananas grow, then eat them.

Hi Kat !! I'm a forum old-timer who spent alot of time in the Pond forum and Garden Junk.... Herbs.... and today stopped by the garden center on my way home and came across a dwarf banana plant that I just HAD TO have.... so here I am, in the Banana Forum, where I know the most banana experts will be hanging out too !!!

Welcome Kat! There are a number of banana that will grow in your area. Great plant. The mighty banana. I can't think of another plant that is more fun to learn about and grow.

Banana's would be a great a great planting project for your grandchildren. They grow so large, so quickly, even kids are impressed!

HEY' I AM A BANANA TREE LOVER...I HAVE BEEN GROWING ALL TYPES FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS NOW AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM.BUY SOME AND TRY THEM OUT,GOOD LUCK
