My v. vittata has grown a great deal this past year, and i am pleased. I got it about one year ago exactly, and through the stress of travel, it lost most of its leaves. They all grew back indoors during the winter, then promplty fell back once i put the plant outside in spring. Now, maybe due to the heat, my plant has lost a bunch of leaves. It seems to have balanced out, but it lost around half its leaves in about three days. Is this the beginnings of fall? Is it all the heat and smog? Is leaf loss like this normal?
