Those pitcher plants will not last outdoors here. They require a lot of humidity. I saw those at Lowe's as well last summer and was wondering why they had them outside, they should be raised indoors with lots of light and humidity.

I used to have one in my terrarium. Nepenthes Ampullaria sp Harlequin Red. Here's a picture of it.
