First taste of Rajapuri

This is the 3rd time my Rajapuri has produced fruit. This time it made it! The last two were killed by the froze. The fruit is small (about 4" in length and 1" thick) and the taste is incredible--not too sweet, tangy, a hint of acidic after taste and the flesh doesn't stick too much in the mouth. The small proportion of the fruit is just nice for a snack bite. Rajapuri seems to be a frolic producer. So far, every 6 months, I get something. I'm hoping that it won't bloom again until Spring.

Beautiful!! Gives me something to look forward to. I planted a little Rajapuri korm in my tiny garden last March, and it has since grown into three slender little trees. I heard it takes about nine months of warm weather before it can develop fruit though (so I'm hoping for a long, warm fall this year).

Can't wait to have smoothies out of the yard!

Congrats on the fruit. How old and tall was it when it flowered? I got one last winter and is now 6'(p-stem height). I was told by a friend in Florida that his flower at about 6'.
