Hi Banana Gang! My Basjoos didn't grow too big here at the shore this first year. Might be the sand or fertilizing but that's another story. The 4 of them are anywhere from 6 inches to maybe just over a foot tall. Two of them have pretty thick pseudo stems.

I want to overwinter them soon and try again next year. I've saved Fglavin's post re: dormant storage and another post re: mulching in the ground. I also can bring them in the house but there's not much direct sun by the windows and about half the plants I bring in the house die before Spring.

My question is what is the best bet to overwinter these babies?
