yellowing bamboo...HELP

I recently acquired (60 days ago) what I was told is horsetail bamboo; I repotted and have it indoors. It's in a large bathroom, good light but not direct. Tried keeping it dry (somewhat) and it yellowed. Then tried keeping it really moist and now it's even worse. What to do?

Despite the common name, it's not a bamboo. The scientific name for "horsetail bamboo" is Equisetum tachyodon, I think, and it's a wetness-loving rush. You may be able to get better info if you post in the Ornamental Grasses forum.
