They look the same to me. Looks like 'Stained Glass'. There can be a lot of fluctuation in colors and patterns among propagated rexes from the same plant. I have problems picking out rexes at the store when they look similar but different. Are they the same plant or are they two separate types? Without name tags, it can be hard to decide. They should look very similar under the same growing conditions when mature though.

ahh...well time will tell. Right know the tiny one has a much brighter red, and more green around the edges.

here is my opinion on rexes:

i think it's too easy to make rexes that look just slightly different--i'm not sure if this is true, but i think a lot of big commercial growers just slap names on some rexes to market them and they don't take the time to check in with the ABS and make sure they really have a distinct, new begonia.

i was told that some time ago there were rex seeds that were marketed as "colorvision--" probably open pollinated seeds collected by some commercial growe somewhere. i wonder if some of these rather generic rexes we see marketed originall come from some of these seeds?
