It sounds like you may have removed more roots than you needed to do. If that is the case then wilt may be there until the plant can put out new roots. You can help it by putting it in a terrarium like environment. You may lose some or all leaves but as long as the stems/rhizomes stay plump and firm it will be okay. If this is a rhizomatous begonia you can propagate new plants with the cut leaves. If it is cane like then you can start new plants with stem cuttings.

If you did not remove a lot of roots then it may be the soil is too wet. If the soil is wet, stop watering it. If the pot is plastic you may want to pull the plant out and place it on newspaper to wick away the moisture.

If the soil is semi-dry then it may be an issue of humidity. Place the plant in a plastic or glass container and see if it perks up. If it does, then you may have to give it slowly wean it away from a high humid state until it can tolerate "normal" air again.

Thanks for getting back to me. Its a typical rex and its being a brat...I don't think I removed many roots at all, i was thorough but careful in removing the old soil. I checked the soil and its slightly moist but not wet and drains very well. I did rinse the roots with water though before repotting, so I'm going to pull it to make sure its not drowning/rotting. I've killed enough with too much water, so hopefully I've learned my lesson there. I'm going to give it a few hours out of the pot to dry ( they arent that wet) then back in the new mix with more humidity.
