New container bog garden advice

I planted a container bog garden about a week ago. I planted Sarracenia purpurea, spiranthes cernua, and Vaccinium macrocarpon. The soil is a mixture of peat moss and potting soil. The container has about a 1.5ft diameter and it is buried in a larger planting area. I used a plastic bag to line the container so that the container would hold water and I wouldn't drown my other plants. I read on the web that I should provide drainage for my container so I poked two holes in the bag. Question- Do you think a plastic bag will do for liner? and- Should I have poked drainage holes?

Any advice would be appreciated!!! Thanks!!
