Japanese Maple (purple Glory)

I need help, I have a purple Glory JM, it is listed in the back of Vertrees book on page 370. Can anyone give me the growth and height also shade or no shade needed? How fast or slow do they grow? The one I have is a dark burgundy, with large leaves, very pretty plant. Finding this information is badly needed, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, David

To Albert 135, Thank you so much. I have tried to find that and looked in the wrong places. This plant I received from a retired professor at Auburn University. It must be rare, because trying to get info is terrible. Thanks, David

Hi There. I know it's been a long time since you asked, but I grow 'Purple Glory' It is a moderate growing variety and will reach about 10 to 15 feet as it matures. I have grown over 600 different varieties in my Nature Preserve and here is a photo of the Spring leaves. May 2019. It will offer you its best color if planted in direct sunlight.
