Aphrodite is a double which are most always pod sterile. Sometimes pollen can be found on doubles which can be used on other singles in crosses.

I have noticed that the pollen (on the couple of doubles I have) can be found on the side of the inner pettels, I'm not sure if this is the norm but it's the only place I have been able to find it.

Just out of curiosity I just went through my Aphrodite pictures dating back to 2009 and only one year were there a couple of small dabs of pollen..Good luck finding some!

I looked because I have a cross that is labeled Tangelino x Blossom Peacock and or Aphrodite (I mixed the two doubles) and it was in 2009. Just a few bulbs that I hope will finally bloom sometime soon!

some of my doubles actually have pollen anthers...and I've found loads of pollen in little creases on the edge of petals of Dancing Queen, Jewel, Alfresco, etc. Nothing on my Aphrodite though...
Exotic Nymph had lots of pollen...on anthers! (pulled off in this photo).
