Agave Normal Growing Behaviour?

Hi, I have three Agaves, all grown indoors. They all seem to be growing their leaves upwards, also looking pale as they grow...is this normal for plants at a young age?
Or isit showing signs of legginess due to not receiving direct sunlight?
