Jade plant indoor transition

Hi

For the first time I transitioned my jades outdoors for summer . They will be going back indoors in September for Canadian fall and winter . I was told to apply this insecticidal soap whether or not I see bugs/ pests as a preventive measure . I was also told to apply the spray on leaves , stems, trunk and soil as well. Just wanted to get some thoughts on that and what others usually do or not do. Thanks !!

Stephane, I guess it's a good preventative, but unless there is obvious infestation/problems with the plant (checking the soil too) I'd be loathe to use it. Just as an FYI, this site is a far cry from what it used to be, and sometimes seven days isn't a long time to wait for an answer. I don't know what has caused this used-to-be-vibrant place to become moribund, but there you have it.
