Door Material

Hello, I am in the process of building my first home, and I want a door EXACTLY this color!! Can you tell me what material this door is, and if it came in this color, or if you painted it yourself? I am being told that if we get a steel door (which we were planning on) it cannot be painted. Thanks in advance!!!

The door color is Benjamin Moore Heritage Red.

I think that you can paint any door with the right paint. Ask your local hardware store.

I love the color on your door. It's not only bold it is totally beautiful. Planning on replacing 2 old porch doors and having them done in this awesome color. Thanks.

Thank you so much for letting us know it was BM Heritage Red! It's been discontinued but my local paint shop still had the formula in their computer and were able to mix it for me. It's the PERFECT classic colonial red for a white house with black shutters like mine!
