Salmon Perfection

This one is an A.K.A. brug (Anne Kirschner-Abel) from europe. Salmon Perfection is one of the more pleasant double pinks to grow because even here in the warmer part of the country she consistently produces perfect blooms and rarely drops any buds.

She's lovely!! I'm happy to hear she tolerates warmer climates well. I'll definitely add her to my "want" list.

    How's the fragrance?

This one was one of my brug highlights last year/ nice surprise!
She likes cooler weather, and mine dropped her two or three skirts with good separation. Fragrance was outstanding- lemony sweet. My blossoms were all on the small side and each was perfect. What size are your blossoms?

The blooms on Salmon Perfection are on the petite size but I would rather have a perfect petite bloom than a monster deformity!! A.K.A did good with this one. It's a shame she never releases the names of the parents of her crosses. Everything is a big secret!

So whats the difference between Salmon and Pink Perfection. Your pics are beautiful. I have Pink and it looks very simular. I have wondered about this for a while.

First off they are completely different cultivars resulting from different crosses. Secondly Pink Perfection is a large pink double that throws as many deformed, ugly blooms as she does pretty ones. On the other hand Salmon Perfection has petite double blooms that are always perfect whether they have stuffed skirts or separated skirts. I have yet to see a deformed bloom on Salmon Perfection whereas Pink Perfection threw so many deformed blooms I threw the entire tree into the garbage. Many people have many complained about pink perfection and its numerous deformities.

I don't have either one but listen to what gary said.....most pics I have seen of Pink Perf have the ugliest second skirt a brug could have. The only reason I would ever want it would be to try to get that color into another brug, then throw it away just like he did, lol. Salmon Perf always looks nice in every pic I have seen, and I will have one soon. If you are going to get one.....get Salmon Perf, not Pink.

i guess like everything else its a zonal thing. In this zone Pink Perfection was a dud. That's why I trashed her. If yours continues to throw good blossoms consistently, that's great but for me the ratio of deformed blooms to good blooms was much too high to give her a place in my yard.
