Nope, not a bromeliad. Bromeliads don't have 'bulbs' although some old parts of plants might looks kind of knobby like a bulb. That could possibly be a crinium lily? Anyone else have a guess?

Well you be 100% certain, the "bulb" i found in some landscaping at a hotel. maybe part of an unplanted root system? i dont know if it was a seed, or a mature plant someone just cut the top off for transport

Not sure what it is, but it isn't a bromeliad. Look up images of crinium and see if they look like your plant.

It is a crinium and not any kind of bromeliad. Criniums make bulbs on the flower stalk after it flowers
