I made a run in my garden. I have at least three formal double flowers from China. White 18 Scholars with streaks, Colorful Angel in Red and Mandarin Bird's Crown.( all of my own translation, not official names)

Are there Chinese cowboy?

A Genuine cowboy trained at Panhandle area of Oklahoma during part of my college days. Then worked as a milk product specialist going often to most U S and Canada, including DC & Va area. This is a garden plant website. It might be forbidden to talk other issue.

Now You can see that cowboy and camellia are closely related. One is for job and other, hobby. I also have a new camellia in red and white.

Are you a descendent of Europeans or Asians?

100% Chinese. That is why all my new camellias are named with a Chinese culture identity. That will be unique naming. Because there are over thousands of named camellias. I do not want to use a common name which will be mixed up with so many other names. Likewise I tell my Chinese camellia friends that some of Chinese camellia names are too confusing, such as, Red Pearl, Red Jewel, Precious Pearl, Pink butterfly wings, Silvery Pink etc.
