Oleifera Leaves versus Sasanqua's

I am trying one of those Winter Series oleifera hybrids and wanted to ask growers in the South Zone 8 + or - to compare their oleifera leaves' light sensitivity to their sasanqua leaves.

This specimen is already planted in afternoon shade but I was just wondering how sensitive their leaves are to the sun. I thought about it when I visited a restaurant with sasanquas panted outside in full sun.

Sasanqua leaves can take a lot of sun here but I still shade them for best performance. How do your oleifera leaves do in the hot south? I know the plants are supposed to be winter hardy but how sensitive are their leaves to sunlight in Zone 8? I have not found an answer "out there" and I am assuming... as much as japonicas. :o)

TIA, Luis
