Thanks to all for the responses on whether to plant the bulbs or get the already growing plants -- I picked up 5 Canna plants yesterday -- 4 red Humbert and 1 yellow Humbert. I know these aren't as exotic as some that I have seen, but a girl has to start somewhere! LOL Thanks for all the advice - we'll see how these do for me in containers this year.
