does anyone know this canna?

Hello, Today I was planting out my cannas that I had started in pots. I received them last year and kept them in pots, but this year I am planting them in the ground. When trying to figure out how to arrange them in a group, I wanted to know if this particular one was a dwarf or not as it is so much smaller than the others. I tried to look it up, but cannot find any info on it. The tag that is in the pot says 'midnight sun' It is not a commercial tag as it came to me at a swap.

Has anyone heard of this?

No I haven't but did you try contacting growers of cannas such as Horn http://www.cannas.net or try this yahoo group:
egroups.com/group/canna to see if they may know.

Thank you very much for the reply Julia. I think that I have finally figured it out. I had left the canna in the pot in which I had received it last year and the tag as well. This year I put it in the ground shortly after I posted here and when I pulled the tag, I found that it had another name that I had not seen before. It turns out that the canna is actually 'porcelain petals'. It really looks like it so far anyway. I will know more when it blooms though. Thank you again for taking the time to reply. :)
